Activated carbons (ACs) were prepared by pyrolysis of seeds mango in presence of sodium and potassium hydroxide (chemical activities). Seeds mango from Colombian Mango cultives were impregnated with aqueous solutions of NaOH and KOH following a variant of the incipient wetness method.
